Anodizing
This is an oxidation process in which the workpiece surfaces are converted to a hard and porous oxide layer that provides corrosion resistance and a decorative finish. The workpiece is the anode in an electrolytic cell immersed in an acid bath, which results in chemical adsoption of oxiygen from the bath. Organic dyes of various colors( usually black, red, bronze, gold,or gray) can be used to produce stable, durable surface film.
We anodized many aluminum parts for light fixture and accessories.
